The Hollerbühl guest house – the ‘Holunderhügel’ – is an old converted farmhouse in the middle of the picturesque landscape of the Hotzenwald in the southern Black Forest.
The house is a lovingly renovated place of strength with an atmosphere for inner growth and encounters. It has been renovated with a lot of heart and attention to detail – in a natural style, with high-quality furnishings and lots of charm.

The rooms are friendly, clearly furnished with small individual touches. There is a conservatory and the fireside lounge where you can retreat.
And if the house is full, there are two single rooms available in the cosy converted trailer – all to yourself, surrounded by greenery.
Catering In the large dining area with terrace and view of the old farm garden, there is space for community, laughter, conversation, experiencing nature – and good, vegetarian food, of course!
If you have any food intolerances, these can be catered for.
Just let us know in advance and we’ll pass it on to the chefs.
The large group room with a large, floor-to-ceiling window front overlooking the garden and oiled cherry parquet flooring with underfloor heating is ideal for workshops and group work. The room is bright, open and clear.

Hollerbühl is located in Schmalenberg, a district of the municipality of Dachsberg – in the middle of the southern Black Forest in the centre of the triangle formed by Freiburg im Breisgau, Basel and Zurich.
The nearest airport is Basel and the next larger town St. Blasien is easily accessible by public transport.
There are numerous hiking and cycling trails right on the doorstep – ideal for nature lovers, quiet meditators and adventurers.
